The Double Decker Compactor is a powerful, dual-level waste compaction system engineered for high-volume environments where space optimisation and performance are critical. Designed by Wastech Engineering, this heavy-duty compactor is ideal for commercial, industrial, and urban facilities that require efficient, continuous waste processing in areas with limited loading dock space.
Developed to address the challenge of managing two waste streams—General Waste and Cardboard—when only a single loading dock is available, the Double Decker Compactor provides an efficient, space-saving solution.
This unit is highly configurable to meet the specific requirements of each site. It can be set up with General Waste on the upper level and Cardboard on the lower, or vice versa—depending on which waste stream is more dominant at the location. The lower compactor is limited to 12 cubic metres, while the upper unit can be configured as a full-size compactor, offering flexibility based on volume needs.
Both levels can be hand-loaded or equipped with bin lifters, offering adaptable loading options to suit operational preferences.
