Our engineering team will review architectural plans and analyse placement of chute and equipment to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency. They can also work with your design team to draw chutes and equipment into plans to communicate to the broader project team.

Effective waste and recycling strategies hinge on education. Our educational programs include a systems-wide approach. We don’t just target building management and maintenance staff, but residents and tenants as well. We aim to heighten understanding and develop a sensitivity toward the environment and waste management practices, thus creating responsibility and ownership.

We will undertake a comprehensive evaluation process to assess the effectiveness and productivity of an operational site. This involves identification of resource streams and contamination, and a systematic review of all facets of the waste management ecosystem including processes, procedures, systems, resources, with the aim of identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
The Role of an Expert Witness
Our subject matter experts have extensive experience in Court proceedings which can provide the professional support you need in your development plan approvals. Here’s how we can assist you:
Our subject matter experts will review all necessary project documentation, provide a summary of key issues, and confirm if Wastech can support the project to achieve the desired outcomes. Documentation to review may include plans, proposals and statements of facts and contentions.
This unified report is typically prepared by two experts in similar fields to address contentions related to their field. This sets out the issues upon which they agree or disagree in a single report. This may involve town planners, engineers, consultants and other industry experts’ opinions.
Our expert witness participates in Mediation Conferences. This conference involves the parties attending Court proceedings while holding discussions to hear the issues in dispute which are identified in the Joint Report, with the intent to reach a decision agreeable to all parties. The conference may take place at the Court and in certain circumstances, may be conducted virtually or via phone.
Expert witnesses are seasoned professionals who provide relevant and impartial evidence in their area of expertise.
