What is SmartWeigh?
The SmartWeigh® system lets equipment owners allocate compactor pickup costs precisely by user and monitor usage in real time. It can be factory-fitted to new Wastech compactors or retrofitted to existing units, handling bins from 120L to 1,100L.
How It Works
- The bin is lifted and weighed to capture the gross weight.
- After the contents are emptied, the bin is lowered and weighed again to record the tare weight.
- The system automatically calculates the net waste and assigns it to the responsible user.
- Collected data can be used for user billing, recycling tracking, and operational performance analysis.
