SLIMLINE
BIN LIFTER

Overview
Facilities relying on manual bin handling often face safety risks when lifting and tipping wheelie bins by hand, and it slows down waste processing during busy collection periods. The Wastech Slimline Bin Lifter is an automated wheelie bin lifting system designed to take that lifting out of the process while keeping waste transfer consistent.
A fully enclosed safety cage surrounds the lift zone, and an interlocked, key-lockable access gate. This ensures the lift-and-tip cycle operates only under controlled and safe conditions.
The slimline design allows installation in tight rooms and restricted waste handling areas where standard bin lifters may not fit. It accommodates wheelie bins from 80L to 1100L and can operate as a standalone unit or integrate with a compactor system.
The unit supports both single-phase and 3-phase power supply, providing flexibility for installation across a range of site electrical configurations.
It supports efficient transfer of general waste, recyclables, and organics into larger receptacles, improving consistency and reducing manual handling across daily operations.
Core Benefits:
- Removes manual lifting from the bin emptying process
- Fully enclosed cage protects operators during the lift-and-tip cycle
- Improves workplace safety and reduces handling-related risk
- Compact footprint suitable for tight, restricted room spaces
- Compatible with standard 80-1100L wheelie bins
- Flexible installation with Single or 3-phase power supply
- Can operate as standalone or integrated with a compactor system

Suitable Use Cases
Retail stores, shopping centres, hotels, and restaurants often operate within limited back-of-house space where waste must be processed efficiently without expanding footprint. This bin tipping system supports frequent bin emptying into collection bins or compactors without manual lifting.
Commercial kitchens, food processing sites, and manufacturing plants tend to deal with heavier, wetter waste streams than general office or retail waste. The enclosed design supports safe decanting of general waste and organics, reducing manual handling risks in heavier waste stream environments.
Recycling centres and transfer stations are rely on continuous throughput. High volumes of bins move through these sites daily across plastics, cardboard, metals, and organics, and this automated bin handling keeps material moving without each bin needing to be lifted by a worker.
Multi-unit residential buildings and strata operations generate frequent bin movements across multiple small to mid-sized bins, which means more individual lifts across a week. The Slimline Bin Lifter supports these multiple-bin systems and keeps tenants cleaning and maintenance staff from having to manually lift the bins.
Hospitals, clinics, schools, and universities operate under tighter procedural and safety requirements than most commercial sites, particularly around how general waste, recycling, and organics are separated and handled. The enclosed cage and interlocked gate give these facilities the level of control that stricter procedures call for.
